Quick question for anyone who may know.

I bought an Audi Approved used Q5 S line in April from a main dealer. This includes a 12 month warranty. Took it to another branch today to get some issue checked out and they also found that the coolant tank had a hairline crack in it and recommended it be replaced.

They said it isn’t covered under the warranty I got with the car when I bought it in April. Is this right? I’m also guessing that their “thorough check of the vehicle” prior to buying it would have revealed it needed replacing.

Tried Es phoning through to the branch that sold it to me but I keep getting fobbed around. Does anyone know?
