if you had to buy a non-audi car, what would it be?
so, what would it be?
Also, mention the audi that you own. If you don't own an audi, name a car you would want that isn't an audi OR whatever brand your car is.
I am also implying that the car you buy is a simillar type of car. For example, someone with a b5 a4 might say a bmw 323i, or someone with an a8 might say a cadillac STS. a bad example would be any ferrari matched with any audi (other than r8)

Currently own '02 A6 2.7TQ tip and a '09 Nissan Altima (wife's car, is it sad that even though I pay for it I don't know what trim it is? whatever is the cheapest)
If I had to buy a non-audi? I guess I'd get a Peugeot 607. No good reason. Just something I think that no one else would pick.

Depends on what I'm using it for! If I'm keeping all my current cars, I would get another Honda for my wife. OR a Evo "like Dave's" for AutoX!

i would probably buy a nissan 370z 
btw my friend from work has a moded evo 10 and for some reason he hates it cuz he keeps putting money in that thing. one of his coilovers took a crap today. last month it was the master cylinder and before that one of the hids lol. but i have to say his evo is hawt and the sound is amazing.

I just got an Audi A6 Avant to complement my Jaguar S-Type. Although both cars are about the same size, they have markedly different capabilities. The Audi is a superb workhorse due to its cavernous cargo area and AWD. I got it to contend with our winters in the DC area. It rides a bit smoother than the Jaguar, but isn't as responsive. The Jaguar, on the other hand, is much sportier and comfortable for long trips. On back roads, the Jaguar is easier to go quicker due to its quicker steering and firmer suspension. Both cars are very stylish though.

When I bought my B5, I was also looking into similar years 3 series (but glad I bought the Audi).
I was looking for an '06-'07 A6 this past summer when the wife saw the '09 Maxima and fell in love. I must admit, the exterior styling really won me over, and it's fully loaded. I probably could have got an equally equipped A6 for about the same price, but finding one within 200 miles was worse than pulling teeth. That's how we ended up with the Nissan. I was also looking into a 5 series xi at the same time, but they were difficult to find as well.
When I replace my current Audi, it will probably be for a B6 S4 with the 4.2, but that will be some time from now. If I had to choose an alternate for Audi, it would have to be a BWM because I love German engineering, but I can't stand Mercs...

Carel, me & CCA4 arew tryN ta establish a regular (monthly?) DC-area G2G at Fast Eddie's, (18th&K-street NW-ish) starting one of these friday's... Possibly this one coming up (depending on work issues). You avail for billiards & braggin?
