I'm sure its all a marketing calculation.

They probably did some market research and found that most people that bought the iPhone were the types that had Audi A4s

It's all about targeting consumers by means ofmedia convergence and behavioral pattern targeting.

Hope I didn't burst your bubble if you were thinking the people of Apple think Audis are cool so they used it in their ad.

 

Oh and i think its a very slick ad, don't get me wrong, I just find that if I want to buy something I find it easier to to web research at home instead of a palm sized display screen.
I guess if you have to hurry up and find an audi to by its handy I guess. ??
Maybe better for restaurants? I saw the calimari ad once too. Just wondering if they are fad material.
