so i just got the itouch plugged it in downloaded the softwere and its stuck on the screen with the ipod insert cable and a arrow pointing towards the itunes symbol. I cant get to the home page on the ipod what is going wrong any help would be appreciated!

 

did you pull, it from your coputer too early? I'd check the manual and see how to restart it. Once you get it woring you'll love it. I love mine.

 

no i left it plugged in for like 3 hours its just stuck on this stupid screen.

 

try restarting it and see what happens. can you take a pic of the screen? so I can fully understand what it looks like.

question, is your comp hooked up to the internet, I'm pretty sure but not positive that instead of giving you the software to recognize your ipod the computer downloads it off itunes server. Also what version of iTunes are you running? I think the touch only works with the newest (which I wanna say is 7)
