hopefully everything works out okay, just read through the whole thing....sounds like a nightmare, I would have pulled all of my hair out, and prolly woulda shot someone after finding out that it was for a 12$ worth of wire...
keep us updated!...hopefully you will be compensated for all labor/ and parts that you didn't need...

don't ever leave anyone with your house key, lock your glove compartment and put the audi key on a detachable ring...One time I lost my house key (prolly 7 years ago when I was still living w my dad)...the next day he had every lock in the house re-keyed...

I read the whole thing and unfortunately, I have heard many stories like these about the dealerships (not just Audi in particular).

I read it all and to say that was an inconvenience is definatly an understatement. Hope all goes well in the future and you get this resolved because that is not acceptable.

Great letter, well thought out and in depth. Just make sure to have all of the documentation and them some!. One thing I noticed is that you checked the car with a OBD scanner not a ODB scanner, very minor thing. Good luck and keep us posted!
