Not sure about the smog issue? He bought his as a complete car in the UK. They are very reasonable over there and come with factory warranty.

 

Got some errors with this BS crap... so Im going to make a flash page where you can view videos and pics at your leisure. Just one pic so far, guess who is leading the pack.

Also, most of the good pics were taken with a Cannon Rebel 2000 EOS, of which have not been developed yet. Once they are, Ill plop some of them on here.

As for this specific event, you need to be apart of the Audi Club of North America. For these events, anyone can come to watch. Someone came and rode along with someone for FREE. If you want to be apart of the Audi Club of North America, just let me know and Ill give you details and what not. The next event is at Buttonwillow, but I have a final that day . Next one after that is Reno, which I plan on attending (hopefully with some more upgrades).

EDIT: nvm, i was thinking of the audi club of northern california, not the acna...this is the place that you need to pay membership dues. i might still sign up, that magazine looks pretty sweet

Sounds like you had a good time,i doubt i will ever get to laguna but from what ive seen it looks like some pretty hard corners,
watched jeremy clarkson going round in a nsx and he struggled to get below 1 min 30 sec or 1 min 40 sec.Looked like a difficult circuit.
