Just got Laid off
Well today i just got laid off from my work
I came in the morning and the HR person said she wanted to talk to me and i knew this isnt gonna be good, she took me to the confrence room and told me i had to be let go
this sucks casue i loved my job and i enjoyed most of my coworkers
anyone know any job openings in the insurance industry
i got a BA in finace with a concentration in insurance
all i want to say is DAM YOU ECONOMY
and i guess i have more time for the forum now =(

that sucks man, I knew you were so stoked when you got that job.
I'm glad I'm in College and not gonna worry real hard about the economy until I graduate, but it really is making it more difficult for me to find an internship too

not much to say but...that sucks! and sorry!
but if it makes you feel any better, i'm sure letting you go was difficult for them to do and was not a choice but more by force of financial factors.
i bet they would be happy to write you a good recommendation. that might help to have for future interviews.

ur good cheng. at least ur not working for that lady u hated a few years back.
and u have a degree. u have an edge on the HS diploma suckers like me.
start looking ! for anything ! doesnt have to necessarily have to be in insurance,
just till things get better - than u can get back to ur field.
(maybe even re-apply at your existing job)
