First off, this thing is SWEET!!!! I had to setup a Windows Partition on my MacBook Pro but oh well. I have already done the window thing, locking thing, and a few other random things, however some of them require you to go into the central electronics module but for some reason I can't get into that part. It retries about 4 times then says it can't communicate with that modual. Any ideas why? I have a 2002 S4.

Oh and if anyone has any good sites for other random things go ahead and post them here. I have found a few but there might be more out there.

actualy its ELM 323/327 chipset but the software is good ( ELM 327 is for the newer cars )

is it licensed software? have you downloaded the correct version? its an 02 and sort of in the gray area weather you need CAN bus which is the HEX download,

the free software is just a taste of what you can do but it does very little and mainly CEL/engine related and probably wont do the central locking
