Karmann Ghia look-alike Audi model
Today, I saw an Audi on the road that looks like a modern version of a Karmann Ghia (I had one years ago), but somewhat more filled out, high-tech looking, and heftier.
It had the Karmann Ghia proportions of long hood, low top, and small back end. Its curves were low and smooth--really a nice, streamlined job.
Any ideas which Audi model it is? I checked the Audi website but couldn't quite make a match.

Possibly
Yes, the older TT could be it.
Speaking generally, I do think that Audi design lines are much purer and classic as compared to, for example, the relatively clunkier and idiosyncratic designs of Mercedes models.

LOL zing... seriously though, the only reason in the world that I wouldn't actually want a brand new E class is that as far as I know, you can't get one with a clutch. If I could have an E63 AMG with a proper manual transmission, I would be saving my spare change like a madman. Here in the real world, I suppose I'll have to have an S5 4.2 instead
