Mattman Enterprises = AWESOME customer service
 

I ordered a plate last week and when it arrived on Tuesday the package was practically bent in half. I emailed them and the next day they got a new plate made and it's being sent out tomorrow. Didn't ask to see pictures, didn't wait until UPS finished their 'claim' (which they also took care of for me), no questions at all.

I'll definitely be recommending these guys to people on the forum from now on.


EDIT: obviously the damage wasn't their fault, it was UPS.

Dewd, I cudda told ya THAT!!! I told you he's teh guy I did my first "group-buy" through. Then I invited him to become a sponsor (HOW MANY TIMES do I hafta 'splain to you guys how prescient I AM, HUH?). Matt ROCKS!!! From my convo with him, way back when, he tells me that most of teh guys on eBay that sell Euro Plates order their product from him...

actually yes it has...i get pulled over A LOT, i think because i look so young...anyway, a couple months ago a cop pulled me over for my tinted front windows..he mentioned that i also didn't have a front plate...so i said, "it's my california plate #s, if that helps?", and he got a pretty big kick out of that...apparently some people are still oblivious to the wonders of the world wide web...he gave me a ticket for the windows, but not the front plate ticket


EDIT: i've been warned about having no front plate several times, this was the only instance where he was going to actually write me a ticket

i did the same on my front plate.. so many people ask me.. how long do you have before they make you get american plates?? Or wow, you got your car in Germany.. then i look at them and tell them no, its a novelty plate.. they look really confused, shake their head, and slowly walk away. :eek:

That's cool. I'm glad the cops don't make a big deal out of it. They know if they are chasing you which plate they will be looking at.
