my rents and i test drove B5 and B6 S4s and Evo VIII. I liked the S4s better. The evo was nice dont get me wrong, but it rode extremely loud and wasnt as comfortable. keep in mind i didnt get it above 3000 rpms bc it had 2 miles on the odom, so i didnt take it to its full potential. it handled good on the on/off ramp. but personally id get an audi S4

I was out riding with some of the guys and we ran into a STI. That thing rolled with us all the way up to 160 or something stupid like that. I mean they HAD to of had some $$ under the hood, being that I'm sitting on a bike, and pushing pretty hard and this STI held it's own until it just topped out in 6th. The thing was screaming, but after that day I gained a new respect for those suckers.

The deciding factor between these car is the insurance... will I even get a car like this. My A4 is so cheap... its not even funny.

As for the EVO, Im all for a quick and nimble car... but Ive heard the thing is loud. Im not the type of person that rolls down the windows, blarring terrible music to get attention; I sure as hell dont want a car thats going to be super loud.

I havent heard much about the MR version of the EVO... anybody know if theyve fixed some of the problems the previous EVOS were having?
