While waiting for my GF to get off for lunch, I sit and open a Rice Tuner mag. They have a 6 page spread about
them tuning an engine (Im guessing it was a Honda engine because it had VTEC everywhere). They were talking
about how insane the engine was and IT WAS.... they were talking about it having a super charger and two turbos
, I mean this thing was heavily modified. I told myself "this thing probebly has like a million HP" and I look for a
DYNO chart. On one of the last pages I couldnt believe my eyes.....

yes, your reading that correctly.. the dyno chart only went up to 158hp. What the hell? Before I could read the whole
article and figure out what they are smoking... I went to lunch.

Any ideas... this baffles me.

 

other than mayby they took the path of "if some is good, more must be better." but useualy isn't and it just went down hill from there, couldn't tell you

what RPM did they dyno it to casue if it was an N/A engine i better they didnt dyno it to hte high RPM thats needed for the real power gains
or they just F'ed up soemthing

 

stock v-tec hp is at least 150, usually closer to 200, depending on the engine.....something's not right, or you could be reading it wrong...

 

was there a 'before' dyno, then an 'after' that you never noticed?

They forgot all the stickers to add the power they were supposed to make.

Now I cant remember but that was the only DYNO sheet there... and it was on the last page like the final result is that. Also, I think it was 158hp to the wheels.

Dont forget its dual hampster wheels... alot more power there.

 

lol no way u read ur **** right... super charged with 2 turbos with 158 hp isnt possible, maybe if u started off with a base 50 hp.... crx's turboed and gutted would spank alotta cars out there. gutted crx's are 1000 pounds. put atleast 250 hp in it with like a slightly modded h22. u have more hp then an s2000 with half its weight...
