MrFlippant's Adventures with FILM!
So I had a conversation the other day regarding Film vs. Digital pictures, and was inspired to dust off my 35mm SLR and see what I could do with it. These were shot on Kodak UltraColor 400 filmin an ancient Minolta XG-9 body with a Minolta 50mm 1:2 lens. Let me know what you think!
This Bentley was parked outside my apartment building, so I had to get a nice artsy shot of it...

And a few shots of my car, still 4x4 Status:

The Porsche was just begging to be photographed!

And some scenery around where I live:

I can definitely appreciate the quality of all of the pictures you took, but to me, a great photograph should tell a story and by that measure, #7 is the best. I like it a lot.
personally I think shooting film is a art. Yeah I shoot digital because it has a quicker and cheaper turn around and if you mess something up you can fix it post process. But I still love good old film shots and will get a 35mm SLR some day myself. Film still provides IMO more vivid colors
looks like we gots ourselves a professional critic! ; )
Pics look great dude, put all the sports cars together for that 'cable' pic, and get both the cable and the cars in/near focus, and i'd use it as my background.
I have an Olympus OM-2s program with 3 lenses, and no skillz. I just bought a nicer sony point and shoot to try to get an idea what ISOs mixed with what settings make decent pics w/o wasting rolls of film.
first macro with the point and shoot using manual settings
first pic of the car using the 35mm. note the dust marks in the pic. i bought this whole bag of camera gear in an employee auction for $80, but it had been sitting in storage for 15 years. somehow, theres crud inside the lenes even.

That macro shot is ****, for some reason I really like it and you can see all the wood grain in it, it's awesome.
I'm really happy with that macro too.

^^Ha yeah I was actually kind of disappointed because I had the film developed and put on a Kodak picture CD rather than getting prints, and the photos on this page are the only resolution they gave me. I can scan the negatives and make bigger copies later, though.
For kicks, here's the rest of the Bentley (with my A4 in the background):

And here's the cars on the parking ramp with the focus set differently:
