My brother wants to be able to record his music and vocals on to is computer. Then he has a program (adobe audition) and work with them. He has been using a crappy computer mic to get the sound onto his computer. Is there a better way to do this. i found a few things that hav the inputs for mics and guitars but are for macs, and he has a XP system. Would a USB mic have better sounding recordings than thru teh mic port? Amyone have a good mic (inexpensive also) recomendation?

 

My neighbor in my dorm does this all the time. Way into making his own music.. has the whole set up on his comp. Mic, keyboard, and guitar. I'll give him a holler and PM you poss tom or whenever I get in touch with him. I'm sure he'll be able to offer to the cause.
