Well this morning on my way to work some idiot pulled out from a stop sign while I was on Francis and turned into the front of my car. I was going about 25ish or so when we hit. Both of us were fine but the cars were not. It was his fault btw and not mine. I have 2 witnesses who confirm that it was his fault. I am waiting to hear back from the auto body shop to see if it's totaled or not. So for the time being I get to cruise around in a PT Cruiser. > But oh well.

If the car is totaled I will probably buy it back and part it out. Oh and it is not drivable either. The fender is punched in enough that I cant turn the car.

WOw, that sucks. I'm glad your OK and I'm gonna guess it's totaled, wasn't that the car you got for a couple hundred?


And about the PT, why not just utilize that silver thing in your garage? You still got it don't ya?

 

Yeah the jetta I bought for $900. It is actually worth about $1500 to $2000 so i will be making money if it's totaled. And yes I still have the S4 but it is on jack stands right now because I am working on the brakes and CV boot. Plus for work the gas mileage I get is SUPER BAD!!!! And I don't have to pay for the rental car so i figured why not get it.

I want to know how you got that car for so cheap! Its too bad that it is gone already, you just got that thing!

I'm gonna be looking for a cheap car like that once my S6 sells, so I might turn to you for advice on how to find a sweet car like that for low $$$!

A guy I know who owns his own VW repair shop had a few MK2's for sale and needed then gone quick so he sold it cheap.
