OIL CHANGE for AUDI 2000, A-6 2.7T
 

HELLO ALL>

Want to find out what type of oil is needed for an AUDI 2000, A-6, 2.7T?
I have been having it services at the dealership and paying dealership prices and looking to save some $$ if possible. Considering local autoshops but want to be sure BEFORE trying.

Please advise.

well asuming that the same standard they ask for in my12v is the same as your 2.7t, in all honesty as long as you get a name brand full synthetic you will be fine.


I use Aimsoil, but there is also Motul, Mobil1, Royal Purple, redline...


and you should, depending on where you live get something around the range of 0W40 or so 5w35 or 5w30 or 0w35 or any other combination should be fine.

As long as it's full synthetic it will probably be safe.
