Default Overstock.com

If anyone is thinking about purchasing something from Overstock.com, think again. This company is a total joke and a rip off. I have to wear a suit for work and I found that they have very nice suits for a pretty good price. I had purchased a $1200 suit for $400 and they shipped me the wrong size. No biggie right? I put the suit back in the box and send it back for a new size. 2 weeks later, I get a new package and it's the same suit!!!! I put it back in the box, put a mark on the invoice and send it back. (again) Now, 4 weeks after my original order they send me another suit. I open the box and BAM. Same wrong size and the same invoice with my mark on it!!!!! I call them and of course, they are out of stock!!!!!!!!!! I tell them that I want to send my suit back and get a refund and they tell me that I owe $5.00 for a restocking fee!

What is wrong with business today? Nothing ever goes right and the internet has turned companies into crooks. As long as they don't see you, they will rip you off. It's now been over a month and $400 later, I am still without a suit and no refund yet. If anyone is thinking about using Overstock.com, DO NOT DO IT! They are a total rip off and their customer service is terrible.

Just giving my fellow friends a heads up on this terrible company.

I have had good luck with them before as well but the past year or so, they have been terrible. My last 3 orders have been messed up. I guess I finally learned my lesson.

i've purchased books, music, perfume and sheets from them and had no problem. i'm sure their stock of some types of clothing is limited, especially the really good "deals" and if you're size is a popular one, then even more so.
STILL, that's no excuse for the bad service!

...and for me, i like to see what i look like before i buy clothes, so i'm not a fan of catalog/online clothes shopping. (also gives me a reason to drive my car! i've had it for over a year and i still look forward to driving)

I agree with Cary. That place is a rip off. I ordered a digi from them and they sent me the complete wrong one and when I talked to them aboput the original one iI ordered they said they wouldnt get them in agian and i would pretty cmuch habe to deal with it. If you're going to buy from them,m think again. [sm=badidea.gif]
