ouch the pain, and dam that guy really beat his wife cause 2 black eyes mean it was more then one swing
so hecould of been hittingher out of anger tryin to hurt her and not hitting her by accident or agony

I am going to assume this was Europe, probably England due to it being "tea time" & say that thats the reason "*****" was used

The INCIDENT took place in Romania, according to the article, but I would be willing to bet that this particular article was written in Great Britian, somewhere. 1st, in teh article, it mentions teh COUNTRY of Romania, in addirtion to teh city where the hospital was located. Generally, "in-country" articles rarely, if ever, mention teh country. It's generally taken as a given that something that happen in "London" took place in London, England, when written about IN England, for instance. 2nd, Not many Romaniana read English, AFAIK. I may be off by a few hundred, but I doubt it. That being teh case, it is highly unlikely that the couple WOULD read about it in a foreign language paper. Each country generally has their own colloquial reference to tallywackers... In England they tend to use "*****," and "****," and such.

As far as teh boiling oil, ask yer grandma how She used to make pancakes... "We" may be enlightened as to teh hazards of cholesterol, but not all of teh rest of teh world is so informed.
