Permission to race!
This morning I was on my way up to Exeter, NH at about quarter past six when this black B7 A4 cuts me off. Not really a big deal, since my van is a tad slow, but I found it odd since traffic was so light. We were on 93 northbound near Woburn, and instead of cutting me off and going straight on, she slashed across the entire highway and into the shoulder, kicking up tons of sand and debris. She almost hit the guardrail but kept it together and drifted all the way back over and clipped the rail on the far left of the highway. Bouncing back into the lane, she sideswiped a Dodge Ram, putting a nice crater in it, almost hit an ambulance, a van full of schoolkids, and me again in the process. I had already called 911 because she was driving so badly, but once she started actually hitting things and that truck, the operator told me to stay with her. It was kinda hard because a Ford E-150 with about 1000lbs of cargo isn't the most nimble vehicle, and she kept going between 50 and 90mph randomly. She wound up hitting a second rail and almost caused a semi-truck to wreck as well as at least 20 other cars. After almost 10 minutes of this, the police finally caught up to us and I got to back off and they forced her off the road without any problems. The dispatcher took all my information because I seemed to be the only one who bothered to call her in.
The guy in the truck tried to keep up for a bit, but he couldn't drive to save his life (which is part of the reason why he got hit in the first place) but still, I can't believe people would just sit there and not say anything at all. I'm kinda hoping they press some serious charges and it goes to trial. I love being a witness!
