from topics recently, seems like the forums seem to take a pretty conservative slant on issues/candidates. how would you characterize your political beliefs?

But I tend to flow w/ the fiscally Conservative & socially liberal.
which in itself is kinda' contradicting eh?

Frankly, this poll doesn't really mean much, but if you're using it just to get a discussion going, that's OK.
Most ppl, if you had to pigeon-hole them, would pick one of the conservative / moderate / liberal categories. But that doesn't tell you much about how they feel about specific issues.
I prefer not being labeled.
