Here are the pics i promised from SEMA. I had to clean my shorts after seeing the white one.

 

Are you in Vegas? Isn't that where they usually hold the SEMA show? Could you see anything cosmetically different on the R8's you saw?

The first one (white one) is freaking hot.

IMO that green with silver is a little off.

 

It's actually a dark metallic grey; it just looks green. The other two-toned R8 with the red rings was modded by APR. Can't remember the exact specs, but the guy i talked to said it had an updated ECU, upgraded rotors and rims, and other stuff i can't recall.

 

Do remember how much horsepower it's making with the updated ECU?

He didn't mention how many HP it was making, and i didn't bother to ask. If i can manage it, i'll swing back by their booth and get the specs.
