Default Reliability of Audi? I am new to Audi

I am looking at buying a 1997 Audi A4 1.8t with 137k miles. It comes with a powertrain warranty that covers axles, transmission, and engine but will that be enough? i heard Audi tends to have a lot of problems and will this warranty cover those problems? thanks.

I doubt the warranty covers any maintenance items. I would find out if it covers the timing belt w/o it actually failing. Also suspension like control arms and tie rod ends probably are not covered.
