on speed channel today at 3. watch the r10 dominate the sports car world again at the best track in the u.s.

Watchin now, but they're not showing much on teh prototypes, at the moment... I love my (2nd) job, BTW. In a seceond I'm gonna go in the conf room and queue up speed channel on the 8ft screen. That and beach volleyball (NBC)

Then, some other guys won in the lesser classes, I think

Well, what else would you expect. another 1,2 finnish for the audi's. very good race.

ALMS needs more factory teams. I would think that factories would want to be there. It is a very accessible kind of racing where local dealers can set up mini-showrooms all over the infield and then point to their cars on the track as part of the sales pitch. Audi needs some real competition to make the series come alive.

i'm with you man. acura is coming on board next year in the lmp2 class, so that should help a bit. there needs to be more teams in the gt1 class as well. two vettes and two aston martins aren't cutting it. it would be great if there were some vipers, ferraris and lamborghinis as well.

As with Audi, once a Marque starts to dominate, as the Vipers did, a decade ago, others are sorta intimidated. Who wants to race for 2nd place? Or, 3rd or 5th, for that matter. Until the other Marques grow a pair...[]
