Saturday night i randomly decided to go to the street races and i run into one of my buddies who has a 04 s4 now. Needless to say the bimmer guys were out there talking there trash. so finally they lined up and the s4 beat the m3 by a half the first run and then a full the second. I was pretty shocked as we all know audis suck at dragging. But it makes sense, all the stats that are provided to us are from track testing. Real streets in real world scenarios are different. The hole shot was the key every time. Quattro provides consistency that is hard to fubar. The rear drive cars have to be perfect in order to achive there optimal times. This was proven because my buddy was a little drunk and still did the job. Im sure it was all driver but ive seen the m3 guy around so he's not a noob with a new toy. I dont think the m had any mods and i know the s4 is stock. But this was cool and i thought i would share.
