Simoniz System 5 Expierience
 

Just bought an A6 and the dealer is trying to sell me the Simoniz System 5 exterior and interior treatment. I can't find any reviews of the stuff on the web or on the forum.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I am less concerned with the price than i am with the possibility of finish damage or causing issues.

sorry bud, never heard of it...but welcome to the forums anyway!

EDIT: i CAN say that pretty much any professional cleaning is going to be ok on your car...only the cheap DIY cleaners are damaging...like armorall and similar products...professional cleaners use ammonia-free, etc. stuff that is usually fine

On my last car which i bought new i paid extra for this kind of treatment.It worked well,my son threw up the second day i had car and it left no stains on seats.I had car three years and it always cleaned up real well.Exterior may need re-applying yearly to be effective so check with dealer but if its not to dear i would get it.


Just remembered it was scotchguard that i had on interior.
