likewise.

When you approach a traffic signal displaying a steady yellow light, you must:

steady yellow, as in, about to turn red, I'd say be prepared to stop, not 'stop if its safe to do so'.

You may pass on the right of another vehicle when:

left lane is for passing, right lane is for travel, unless otherwise specified.

^^ Yep.. those are the two

We actually have 'passing lanes' for when someone is stopped making a left turn.

Well another common misconception is folks think the left lane on a 3 lane freeway is a "fastlane," which is a load of crap. Its a passing lane as far as the law goes, and you have to yield to faster moving traffic. There is nothing i hate more than an old fart renegade doing the speed limit in the passing lane trying to teach us a lesson!
The yellow light thing is BS though, whoever wrote that didn't have his head screwed on straight.

Why am I not surprised some of the most uneducated drivers are from my state?? NJ FTL

- Can't signal to change lanes even if I wanted to use them, the damn soccer moms in the Cadillac Escalade who just got her nails done will speed up and then tail-gate the **** outta you.

- No one understands that if traffic that needs to merge on the highway, you move over a lane if you can to allow a smooth merge.

- Pennsylvania drivers will sit in the left lane from their job in NY all the way home to PA no matter what.

- No such thing as a full stop anymore......anywhere.

-How about when there is an obstruction in your lane and there is on-coming traffic YOU WAIT until the other lane is clear to pass, don't just throw your car over the double yellow and expect me to move.

I can go all day.....I know every state has their fair share of bad drivers but most will admit NJ blows.
