it sold soo cheaply because it was about to be 4 years old and automatic....

I'd still be interested in driving it though...

^^ Actually the RS6's hold their resale value VERY well because of how rare they are. There were only something like 300 (DONT QUOTE ME ON THAT NUMBER THOUGH) brought to America. According to Kelly Blue Book the RS6 values at 53K so I'd say the person that bought this one got a hellova deal.

I am not a fan of auto either but I would def be willing to go auto for the RS6. Think of that beast chipped... 520 hp

And I do have respect for the Phaeton, I always thought it was an extremely nice luxury car. But man, that thing has to be a freaking boat to drive. Sure its got the W12, but its SUPER heavy and the handling is probably not for the spirited driver. Thats why I would opt for the RS6. Oh and think of how much gas that W12 would suck... [] ouch

the pheaton is a basically a an A8 so id get and the RS6 only had the option of an automatic because apparently there was too much power for a the manul gearboxs. the RS6s did have a paddel shifters behind the steering wheel to add to the driving pleasure, kinda.

[:-]Sweet Mary mother of gawd! Never seen that many buttons in a car - but I'd still opt for the RS6 - cuz its Quattro and alot smaller to drive - that Phaeton's the biggest VW I've ever seen [8D]
