Default Stickers on Bumpers

So my property company is making all tenants put a 3x5" sticker on their rear bumpers to show we live in our apartment complex so we dont get towed. Not a big deal if it was smaller and wasnt black/yellow and it didnt stick out like a sore thumb on the back of a silver bumper...so I asked them about putting it in my window instead and they ruled that out and said its either on the bumper or find a spot on the street. (Tough to do in a downtown college campus) Oh and they have to put it on, they wont just let me do it -_-

So I'm trying to figure a way around it.. I've thought about spraying the rear bumper with wd-40 to grease it up and make it easy to come off. I'd even pay to have it reprinted/replicated

I just hate having a perfectly clean rear end and the thought of putting on a big ugly *** sticker on it

nobody can make you put a sticker on your car. i'd tell him it's going to sit on the dash or you'll take some legal action.

Yeah, I don't think people can force you to have stickers on certain places.

Even the city stickers don't necessarily have to be put on the place it is stated. At least that's how it is around California.

I doubt if you'll be the only person complaining. Leave a note under the wiper of every nice car in your parking complex and band together to give your building manager a big F-you.

yeah tell them they can go F themselves. What's wrong with a small sticker on the back window or something?

Yeah I plan on going back tomorrow and being like thats a bunch of BS. I mean if a tow-truck driver cant spot that big of sticker in a window, how can I trust them to tow a car away without damaging mine in the process...

I dont wanna cause any ruckus with the people who control our building, but it just seems like a bunch of crap.

I would just put the sticker on with double sided tape until the situation is resolved, but that is BS. Were not in China last time i checked.

if it was a magnetic one you could take it off easily. that is such bull crap though. i think they're being very unreasonable. plus everybody uses tags on the rearview mirror. there's gotta be a lawyer that does free consultation in town you can ask for advice

Pretty lazy on their part. I imagine they want to put the sticker in the exact same spot so some high school dropout can quickly scan the rows of cars. I'd tell them you'll be backing in from now on, and thus want one to hang from your rear-view.
