If I ever got a bike, I would plan to put the same mileage on my front tire as my back!

seat beltload of crap at speeds above 50 MPH they will do more damage than good ( I hate them because they restrict too much )
I guess you have your own perception of safety and dI have mine, but in a crash I'd rather be sitting inside a steel unibody with four airbags than ejected through the windshield at 50mph onto asphalt. That's just me though.

my mate was drowned because of this, car went over in a stream and he couldn't unhook the seat belt[:@]like having a hangman's noose round you for safety reasons[:-]
That's very sad to hear but if you're worried about it happening you can always buy one of these:

Too many people I see die in crashes would have lived with a seatbelt on. A guy in my hometown died after rolling his jeep...without his seatbelt on. Otherwise he likely would have lived.

Ever seen this?

Cabin looks fairly intact doesn't it? But the guy died. He wasn't wearing a seatbelt. Personally I'd rather be strapped down when ripping through corners in a sports car than sliding around my seat all over the cabin. Maybe some people just like to practice dance moves while driving[>:]

Seatbelt cutters are great. Seatbelts will save you more times than they will hurt you.
