i'm not a fan of spoof bands at all, but these guys are dope...hilarious, and they actually have musical talent.

 

your damn right!! they rock.. anyone who can do a tribute to the greatest song in the world has got to be number one!!

 

ohhh yea tenacious d is from the burbs of chicago i grew up listening to those guys

 

I love Tenacious D. I think the major reason they're so funny is that Jack Black can actually really sing. "Wonder booooy/ what is the secret of your poweeeerr/Wonderboooy/Won't you take me faaar awaay from the mucky muck"

I can probably do that with every one of their songs. I went to Snowbird (Utah) this winter with some friends, one of whom has one of those iPod speaker things, and we rocked tenaciously the whole time.

 

I played F#ck her gently for some Iraqi kids.. they really liked it... they didnt understand it though!! LOL
