Well seeing how there is talk but nothing I can find about it being done,
I decided to start an AF channel on IRC.

While Forums are great, sometimes you need that answer right now and a live chat room would help.

All you need to do is log onto EFNet and then join the AF channel like this:

/j #audiforums

Should you not have an IRC client you can search the web for one of the following:

Windows:
mIRC Shareware
KVIRC Freeware (linux port that works very well)

Linux;
xchat
KVIRC

Sorry MAC users I don't know of any. Please search the web for one.

Anyone having any issue send me a message and I'll help you get there.

 

Is this a Jabber-friendly enviroment? We use Jabber @ the cube-farm (approved by the software *****). I'll see if I can "see" it through Jab on Monday.

lol, obviously you didn't read the title. There is the word 'TEST' in there for a reason.

Besides, irc channel are only what the people who visit them make of them. It's not a magical wonderland as you would hope for. Same goes for a forum, it's only as great as the people who visit them with a few exceptions.

So sit back, zip up and enjoy the ride.

Cool. Hopefully we can attrack more people to the channel and maybe it will be worth it.
