be thankful
 

today at work i was standing outside waiting for cars to valet, when i see this family walking towards my resteraunt. so i go grab the door and open it for the family. it was a family of 7 grandparents, parents, and children. then i looked down at one of the kids and he was about 6 or 7 years old and he was walking with a cane. he was crippled. and he looked up at me with the biggest smile and said thank you sir. i was blowen away. the kid is crippled but like it never bothered him. he was so happy with life. it breaks my heart to c someone like that esp that young like that. he cant do anything of the things i do, play sports, drive stick, , run, etc. just thought id share it with u guys, show us how lucky we really are.

Sometimes it takes something like that to slow everything down... and put things into perspective.
Glad to hear he was happy though, kids are incredible sometimes, with their resiliency.
