Default Thoughts on VW

Personally, i think their whole new 'stepping up the bar' thing.. making VWs classier... is bullsh*t
i mean.. the new Passat...

doesn't even hide it's resemblance to the A4. The big grille should have been left as an Audi trademark. I've always seen VW as the cheaper versions of an Audi... now VW wants to move upmarket... making Audi what?
Look out Maybach, here comes Audi.

i'm a pretty big fan of the R32s...other than that, VW doesn't really do it for me, if you know what i mean.

Don't be hatin' VW guys. VW sales make up more than half the profit for all of VW AG (parent company of Audi). Audi relies on all that financial support to design and manufacture the cars we love so dearly. We can't expect that there won't be some sort of crossover in the design departments. As Audi evolves so will VW - it's inevitable.

Mmm... yeah, I like VW's. The passat has always been a good car, and now it has the looks to go with it. I have never thought a passat to be attractive, until this current generation -- although, your right, they didn't try and hide the resemblence to the A4. I swear though, if they came out with a TDI with 4 Motion, i'd be all over it! I hate gas!

But yeah, none of the VW's drive as well as our audi's... jetta's and golfs feel cheap, and are known rattle traps. I think they are all made in mexico now, when the prior made in germany, and made in... brazil i believe... are both known to be tighter cars. I want VW to bring the POLO over here though, so we can get rid of all the tiny BS cars that are around... aveo's and echo's *shudders*... the Polo would own them.

I love vw's! I'd much rather have a vw than an audi, mostly because of the image associated with audi but I need awd and I am not getting a passat plus i dont have the $$for an r32 so audi it is. Respect Your Roots!
