I didn't want to limit this to S4's only so I'm posting here.

What are you guys and gals running as far as tint? I was thinking about going for 15% all around in a week or two.

Pics of your tint would be great too.

 

I'm rockin' the dark side of 35% all around.

I asked for 35%, it looks closer to 20, and it reads 33-34 depending on the tint meter.

 

Depends on a lot of things, including your car's interior and exterior colors. My friend got 15%, but it does not look that dark due to his cream interior. At night however, the tint makes things very difficult to see. If I was to tint my car I would stick with 20%, especially since I have a black interior.

 

Yeah, black interior makes everything darker.

 

Currently rocking 100% on the A3, but when I get some $$ I'll be dropping it to 20%.

 

Oh, but you lie! Cars come with tinted windows from the factory...I believe Audi tints around 93%. Some manufacturers go pretty dark, like 70%. So when you actually go and get your windows tinted again, it'll really be around 13%, not 20.

What exactly is the point of 93% anyway?

 

Mostly to cut down on glare.
