Default Tints...

So I'm getting my windows tinted tomorrow (35%). My windows came tinted from factory. Am I supposed to remove the factory tints or can I just tint over it?

You can tint over them, but be aware that the outcome might be just a little darker.

Why only 35%? That's not very dark at all.

35% is the darkest tint legaly allowed in NH, and you can only have it on the back, and rear side windows. I know alot of states are like that, I also know there are alot of dick cops who will hand you a razor blade and tell you to take it off or call a tow truck at a traffic stop

That's not the argument. The point is that a cop would never hand someone a razor blade, that's just insane. The most they might make you do is scratch up the film with your key so you would be forced to remove it later.

you say that but I know someone on here actually was given a razor blade and the cop waited while he took his tint off, I forget who but it did happen.

I mean I concur it doesn't make sense for a cop to give a weapon to a person but then again maybe they weren't the brightest cops around you know.

I would be willing to bet that was an isolated incident and its not standard procedure for the officer to hand you a blade. That's just stupid on the officer's part.
