Default took a test drive

stopped in at a local ford dealership today.. spotted a 325i and a mini cooper. talked to the sales guy for awhile and got him to let me test drive the mini cooper. i was very suprised at how fun it was to drive. it handle like it was on rails, pulled through the first three gears.. GPS, panoramic sunroof, all the trimmings. i wish i could afford another toy, just can't do it.

I'd be all over the cooper S if they offered all wheel drive. Even in FWD its a pretty incredible little car, though.

you can get the cooper worls version (and a few other tuners), that get it to 200+ bhp! I drove a stock cooper sc at home, and it was an absolute hoot on the twisty roads in the UKI. Not sure if it would really be put to best use in the US though!

Yeah the works is what I was referring to, although I never specified... The "special edition" or "works" is a pretty sweet deal... better supercharger, among other things brings it to 200 hp even, put to the ground through a 6 spd gearbox -- you know the car is gonna boot along pretty good. Although its #'s arent as impressive as the power/size suggests... its still pretty sweet in my books. If they made an AWD one, I would seriously immediately start working on finding a way to afford one.

yeah someone should look up the numbers (because im too lazy too).. MR-S's are extremely unerpowered, putting them in the "chick-car" catergory.
