ok, so how about this one: a tornado (not a hurricane, which do frequent the north east, but a tornado) hits long island. ok thats kinda weird, but it has happened before. now this tornado also hits the north shore and more specifically my town. even weirder yet, this tornado spawned and went down the very road i live on, taking out several homes, cars and transformers via fallen trees. and the weirdest part is that this tornado lost its steam and died down three houses down from me, causing no damage to our property but only knocking out power and water for 62 hours. weird

Good to hear that all is ok with your family and property. R the neighbors ok? I can't imagine what its like to experience a tornado, but I've weathered many hurricanes. U had lady luck on your team.

 

yea seriously man, a couple of my neighbors have like huge trees wedged halfway through their homes, i dont really know them, but seems like no one was hurt luckily

yea i lost power around 920ish friday night, and didnt get it back until 1130am today. and let me tell you no electricity when its 90+degrees and humid sucks. no ac, refrigeration for food, or hot water for showers... it was like living in the 1600s
