so my brother knows this kid at school with an audi tt. my brother drives a trans am. this kid with the audi tt, fro some reason thinks he can beat my brohter and he wont say what he has done. we are all pretty sure it doesnt have uprgraded turbo and my brother is pushin about 350 hp. the guy wants to race for $500 so we wanna know what else could he have doen to his car to make him so sure he can win?

 

theres a crapload of stuff he could have done to the car. i've seen some really fast tt's out there. if your gona race him do it from a launch. on highway you will be blown away

i thought trans am's are low end torque quarter horses like mustangs and such and TT's are better on the highway, tho i could be wrong since i've never driven a TT

 

yeah, he should do from a stop considering that face his trans am is a automatic. noone likes this kid so he wants to make sure he beats him

 

As long as the TT is relitively untouched, the trans am will walk the crap out of him. from a stand to top speed.

 

what year trans am are we talking about and what motor? I had a camaro with an LS1 vett 350 in it, anything over 300hp and those cars just burn through the tires, those auto trans suck 700r4's are gay 350hp i bet that thing is on its last legs, they dont hold up well i had a high performance rebuild on mine with a manual over body and still blew it up, then went with a super t-10 4 speed..

but back to the race, the tt is alot lighter, if he has some stuff done to it he might be a problem, do you have a speed limiter, my dam camaro wouldnt go past 130 so gay till i changed everything.. he will take you off the line if he can launch but if its stock you should have no trouble.

 

so have your bro go spend 200 on a nitrous kit and spank the TT then he will still be up 300 and sure to win

 

Or get an air horn and blow it just as you take off. Better yet a police siren[:-]
