Default Video Conferencing

Yo. Most of you could figure out this entire thread purpose by the title.

I bought a camera to talk to the fam when I go to china (business trip) this friday. Dad has one built into his comp and has done it with his partner using some adobe program on a trial bubt cant seem to get it working now.

My question is, whats the cheapest, easiest way to use this face to face around the world. Any pointers, advice, random fun facts would be appreciated.

A lot of chat clients have video conferencing functions built in. I know Yahoo! Messenger does and if you're lucky enough to have Macs on both ends, iChat is awesome.
