if he grabbed it earlier and the guy didnt turn it so hard, they might have not of flipped out as bad as they did... looked like he didnt even tap the brakes

oh no, he hit the brakes. That's what put him in that situation. Front, or All wheel drive you need to be on the gas and power thru the skid/slide. Brakes only make things worse.
