it will save water!! lol how stupid is that unless you are in the dessert i guess the hippies dont know that all the water that goes into the sewer is filtered and we drink it again
Pejorative appelations aside, it has nothing to do with hippies. It has to do with a known fact thatwater supply depletion is occuring all over the world. Water tables are falling in every major food producing country. We are using fresh water at a rate faster than rainfall and reconstitution can resupply it. Excessively overdrawn aquifers become contaminated as highly saline water refills them. Lowered aquifer levels means that many wells will no longer reach the water level and will have to be redrilled deeper. Lowered aquifer levels also negatively effect river and stream flows and lake levels. 80% of subsidence (the lowering of ground level or sinking land) is caused by reduced water table levels. Groundwater depletion requires irrigation limitations, which reduces the crop yield, meaning that not only do we have less drinking water available, we have less food as well.

Water depletion is a serious problem, and for you to imply that it's just hippies over-reacting is nothing but ignorant.

OK, that pic is from my happier (but, STILL, NON-ghey) days. I had a fuller moustache and more hair, back then. (NON-GHEY FOR 16,363.8 DAYS, and counting...)

I really doubt that works, or if it does, it doesn't work well. Stupid hippies.
+1 took the words right out of my mouth
