how is "ah-de" like audio at all? And everyone knows its ow like "OW! I just stubbed my fu(kin toe!" and D like "i'm about to get a D on my psych final because i'm posting this bull$hit instead of studying"

Very well put:) I think it's a German thing. I work with a guy who races Porsches at Watkins Glen, and over the last two or three years of talking cars with him, hearing Porsche pronounced "por-shuh" finally doesn't sound goofy to me.

But I'm with the rest of you - owdee is it.
