Gack!

I seem to have made a slight error in judgement. After retaking my old job position, I am now officially working three jobs, four if you count the race car building stuff.

What the hell was I thinking? What good is making decent money if you don't have five minutes a day to enjoy spending it? I've been out the house for non-work-related things like maybe four times since the 1st (not counting buying fast food, since I don't have the time to cook either). I went to Foundation Room a while back, and since then I'm just blekh. I have no energy, I have no time, my friends think I'm DEAD (or just really busy, I haven't the time to ask them). What made me think this was a good idea?

And the ladies love it, boy let me tell you. I was chatting up this honey at a realtor's office. I was being nice and Don Juan about it, I had her in the bag, so I go to close it.

Me: So I've enjoyed talking to you, but I have to get going. Let's go out to dinner this week.
Her: I'd like that, when?
Me: How about Saturday?
Her: Ok, I'll....
Me: Wait, no uh, I've actually got to be in Reno all day Saturday, how about Sund... no wait, I probably won't be back in time for my Sunday morning meeting, so I'll have to push that back to nighttime.
Her: Oh, ok.
Me: We could always do lunch for Monday, but damn I've got....
Her: Huh?
Me: Let do it Thurs, no Friday, ummmmmm maybe Tuesday. Yes, definitely Tuesday.
Her: All right....
Me: Maybe.
Her: ......

What the hell kinda game is that?!? just looks like I changed my mind about going out with her and am trying to get out of it.

I haven't even been to a Strip Club in two months!! For me that's like, forever!

I think I might need to re-evaluate my priorities. But ****, I don't even have time to do that.

Look, see? This is what I'm talking about. I have to cut this post short because I've got to go work. GRRRRRRR!!

Ok, I'm done ranting for the moment, just needed to get that out of the system.

 

get a grip of your self man work = wages = cash in pocket = weekends = car then girls come in later

Get a job that requires you work during the week, and have the entire weekend off. Those 2 & 1/2 days are really a life saver...

slow everything down to a pace that you want it at.. then adjust your strategy.. hang in there, and keep certain days open.. like Sunday night or something, and keep everysingle sunday night open if possible.. that way when you go to ask a girl out, you know what day to ask her on... I know that probably wont work, because your job sounds like it requires travel

 

Just look at it as a period in your life when your focus was work.
As long as you have the energy to keep going for a while, make the most of it.
Set some kind of goal for what you want to acomplish (more $$ to invest in the Rex; save up for your own place or business; save up for retirement)
Chances are something will have to give sometime down the road.
One thing i would try to do though, is take one day off a week if possible.
