i don't like Clarkson because he thinks all Americans are dumb, and the English are totally awesome.
But.
I know guys who'll buy cars just to drive them out in a field and shoot them up. (and I'd do it too). Especially a Prius. I'm glad he pronounces it Prius, and not Preeus like i hear on on the commercials. dumb.

^ I pronounce it GHEY. I hate those cars and most of the ****** that drive them. Most of those guys just think they're so damn great because they drive a Prius. Too bad those lead-acid batteries are horrible for the earth if they leak.

I'll agree with Clarkson about buying a diesel over a hybrid. The technology has been around much longer, it clean, you get great milage, and you can, if you wanted, run it off of soybean oil and other planty oils that are carbon neutral.
hybrids, or full electric even.... well, lets use the electrics as an example. Sure, zero emissions right now, but those battery packs cost almost as much as the car, and eventually they'll need to be replaced, and the old ones are full of acids, and heavy metals. Nasty ****. Just on cost, it'd be smarter to just buy a new car rather than replace only the battery. Thats a lot of stuff to 'recycle'.

When you have an accident in that car and it gets sent to a body shop, the techs have to wear special high-tension line gloves so if they **** up disconnecting the battery, they don't get electrocuted and killed.

that'd be fun. but even better if some1 was drivin it around in an empty field while you were shootin at it!! haha but yea prius suck!!! there is this one guy i've seen at school who drives one and he thinks his a BA and he actually has a system in it lol. how good are they if you have to change the batteries like every 6 months. and that costs like $2000.
