What should i send a friend if their mom just died?

What should i send a friend if their mom just died?
My suitemate's mom just died of cancer on monday. I was wondering what is a good thing to send other than flowers. I was hopeing someone knew of a place that sent out like brownies, cookies etc...

i sent him brownies from fairytale brownies, and a bunch of us are going to send a thing of flowers.

OK, I try not to do this TOO often, because it will become something that's expected, and lose it's meaning...
