Have any of you ever topped out your audi's my speedometre reads 260 km/h and i hope she will reach it im sure ill have to mod it a bit but have any of you ever topped out your audi's.

 

My tires top out at 112mph (snows). I have yet to over 100 in my car because usually i have one of my friends in the carand Im not legal to drive anyone yet, so if I speed I'm f**ked. I can't wait 'till summer going up to Vermont where there are great places to top it out.</P>


If you are gonna speed, i recommend not exceeding your tire rating.</P>

 

yea, i have taken the a8 to 130, then the rev limiter kicks in. Its a 98.

 

mine is governed at 130

I made a couple of passes on the road to make sure it was safe, and she got up to 165 mph and still had a little more left in her. WOW imola is soooo fast!!

 

i belive my limiter is at 130-135 but i know it can go a lot faster...in 4th gear i've hit 115 before my tach limiter came into play. i have not taken the audi past 125 yet. the fastest i have gone was in my 92 saturn sl2 the needle was bouncing off the 130 mark (highest it goes)and still going. that run was a little scary...verry bad brake fade

 

HEy umm you all seem to own newer models My dad's got an 1986 audi 5000 cd turbo do you think it will have a limiter (govener).?

it got up to 135, very slowly but it got up there</P>

 

IS that mph or / kmh cause my buddie has a lumina 3.1 also and its got some sure muscle for stock. pretty coool peace.
