Yeah, but it was on the autobahn in Germany, so it was not illegal or dangerous, just a sunday drive:D

i took my a4 to 130mph before it cut off....
i took my friends chrysler srt8 to 175mph before it cut off
the kicker, i took my friends M5 to 190mph and it still hadmore to go.....

Took my 98 A4 V6 30V up to 130 untill it cut out.

Felt like I wasn't even on the road, like floating above it.

Kinda scary, think it's because my tires are rated for 137.

That's kinda weird.... I played with an Outback the other day and went a little over 140 according to my Tomtom... Is the speed regulator something that can be accessed by Vag-com?

No i think taking the govener out is a major op.

My friends dad had the govener takin out of his $100,000K porsce 939 and now his tack dosen't work.

I'm pretty sure it's a mechanical limiter that need's to be disabled (part of the tranny), not an electronic mod.
