OK, so after giving interviews for two days in downtown San Francisco, I think it's almost done. I will have to move from DC to San Francisco.

Now, I am thinking what should I do with my car...drive to San Francisco (it's 2600 miles) or get it shipped. Has anyone done it? I will like to drive (it will cost me about $600 of gas), but a bit concerned about the affect on the engine for running 800-900 miles in a day. On the other hand, shipping is taking 12-15 days, plus $1200 + airline ticket worth $350-400 for me.

What will you do? Any better suggestions??

 

ROAD TRIP!

If you can arrange it with your schedule, hit the road. Lot cheaper, and think of the adventure. Do one of those 'blue tape' videos. If you're going alone, have soembody go with you and pay their plane fare back. Don't worry about the mileage. That's what the Audi's for, after all.

 

Agreed Road Trip, I drove from Mass to Florida and it was a blast. You learn a lot by doing it, South of the Border was the ****!

Drive to San Francisco then head down to Southern California for the GTG.

 

GTG...lol! Since, I don't remember having any GTG in west-coast, I guess, this will be a start for many good things. I still have a bone to pick with Jazz on this...

My home is in California, so fairly aware of it, though always lived and worked in west-coast. I just love the drive to Carmel-by-the-sea, and lake Tahoe.
