RE: What's your favorite food yo??
For real though I haven't eaten food for the flavor in about a month. College food sucks, at least at my school....
Best meals I have ever had are the ones where everything on my plate came from my farm. A prime steak from one of the cows we raise. Gourmet specialty potatoes cut up with a hungarian hot wax pepper, cooked on the grill in an aluminum foil packet with some olive oil. Maybe some multi colored carrots and parsnip cooked similarly. In the spring some fiddle heads with s+p and butter. Grilled eggplant, zucchini, and summer squash with a nice cut up onion, A salad with our own oak leaf lettuce, a big fat heirloom tomato bigger than both my fists together, diva cucumbers, bell peppers, an avocado. **** i could go on forever.
Every night before i drive home from work I take a picking basket and go into the store and choose all of the ingredients I need/want for dinner. Theres nothing like it.
