5 1/2 years as a retail/wholesale parts guy. If there was any decent money in parts id still be doing it. I was inches away from a job in parts at my local audi dealer back in PA about a year before i moved, but that fell through.[>:]

mechanic was my choice of career because I love working on cars and I take pride in my job ( only the best is good enough ) as the customer deserves, unfortunately many went into the trade just for the money and job security and both suck big time.

its best if you like any job before you commit to it otherwise it will be a stressful life your going to have
